Our Food

We are extremely passionate about the food that we purchase and serve. All meat is supplied by local suppliers and is locally reared. Our free range eggs and milk are delivered directly to us from a local farm.

Tomatoes are organic and bought on the vine to ensure the maximum flavour and freshness. Mushrooms are organic where possible.

All of our sausage and bacon is grilled to ensure a healthy slant. Our Cumbrian Dry Cured bacon is cut thicker than usual to enjoy a ‘traditional’ rasher.

For the vegetarians amongst us, all of our tomatoes are grilled on a separate grill to ensure there is no contact with meat at any stage.

Please note: We can provide soya milk and various soya products for our guests if we are notified in advance. Most diets can be catered for. Again, prior notification is most appreciated to ensure sufficient time to purchase the supplies.
